Situated in mountainous countryside, Moor Lough and the adjoining area are developed as an amenity area. This upland water is best fished with patterns such as Zulu, Bloody Butcher, Alexandra and Mallard and Claret. This fishery is stocked with over 4000 takeable trout.

From Belfast via the A6 by Dungiven, taking the B49 through Claudy to Dunamanagh. Head south for about 90 metres by the B48 towards Plumbridge, turning right to Altishane. Cross the Silverbrook Bridge 3.2 km out and turn left for another 1.6 km to Devine’s public house. Turn right for 2 km over the moor, then left for 450 metres and left again by the gravel road to the lake.

From Strabane travel north by the A5 towards Londonderry, turning right 3.2 km out of Strabane towards Dunamanagh B49. Turn right again in Artigarvan village for 6.4 km through Glenmornan, then right for 450 metres and left by the road to the lake.
