This is the smaller of two man made lakes in a city park setting. It is accessible by surfaced path connecting with pedestrian and cycle paths but is some distance from car parking. Fairly shallow water and weed patches provides an abundance of coarse fish fry and bottom feeding.
How to get there
From Belfast by the M1 to the A76 towards Lurgan for 0.8 km and turn right by the A3 for 1.2 km to the T junction. Turn right on the B2 for 0.8km to the roundabout and follow the road towards Portadown for 0.6 km to next roundabout where the Lakes are signposted.
