This is a small reservoir with natural high productivity and good fly hatches. At some levels care is needed when wading. Anglers must use the official entrances and on no account trespass on adjoining lands or park their cars in such a way as to obstruct roadways or gate entrances.
How to get there
From Belfast Approach by the M5 and A2 towards Carrickfergus. Through Carrickfergus
take the A2 towards Whitehead for 2.4 km to Eden taking the B149 to the left towards Glenoe and Larne.
The reservoir is on the left after 2.8 km.
