Disabled Facilities
Two disabled fishing stands are accessible directly from the car park which is currently quarry dust but will be tarmaced in the near future. There is a hardcore and boardwalk path from the car park around the entire shoreline and fishing stands are provided.
White Lough is a most attractive lough in a pleasant setting by Rehaghy Mountain, near Aughnacloy. It is very popular with anglers. The fishery is stocked with 3000 takeable rainbow trout which can be caught on buzzers and lures such as Sweeny Todd
Visitors may enjoy a quiet walk around the shore provided no annoyance is caused to the adjoining landowners. Small boats are permitted but power-boating is not allowed.
How to get there
From Aughnacloy via the main road to Caledon A28 to Crilly 3.2 km from Aughnacloy); turn left then fork right after 0.4 km at McClure’s shop.
From Aughnacloy by the B128 to Benburb turn right at the second (Rehaghy) crossroads 3.2 km out (both signposted).
