Methods: - All lawful methods including ground bait and maggots
Daily Bag Limit: - 1 pike / 4 coarse per day
Size Limit: - Pike of 4 kg (8.8lb) and over and coarse greater than 25 cms must be returned to the water
Boats: - Fishing from boats is not permitted
Licence: - Fisheries Conservancy Board Coarse Fishing Rod Licence
Permit: - DCAL Coarse Fishing Permit
Disabled Facilities
There are 25 fishing stands which are all wheelchair accessible from the new tarmac car park. The paths have a quarry dust surface. The area and paths are prone to flooding in winter which can damage path surfaces.
This water is a good pike fishery with pike in the 7–9 kg class caught in the past as well as many smaller pike and bream. Tench are also present. The side of the Lough nearest the road has been developed for angling and a small car-park, hardcore path and fishing stands have been provided
How to get there
From Caledon take the B45 Dungannon road for approximately 1.6 km and the lough is on your right.
From Dungannon travel towards Caledon on the B45 for about 17.7 km and the lough is on your left.
